community.aws.ec2_launch_template (0.1.2) — module

Manage EC2 launch templates

| "added in version" 1.0.0 of community.aws"

Authors: Ryan Scott Brown (@ryansb)

Install collection

Install with ansible-galaxy collection install community.aws:==0.1.2

Add to requirements.yml

  collections:
    - name: community.aws
      version: 0.1.2

Description

Create, modify, and delete EC2 Launch Templates, which can be used to create individual instances or with Autoscaling Groups.

The M(community.aws.ec2_instance) and M(community.aws.ec2_asg) modules can, instead of specifying all parameters on those tasks, be passed a Launch Template which contains settings like instance size, disk type, subnet, and more.
